Whether you are planning a winter cruise or just desire a sleeker, hair-free appearance now is the perfect time to consider having laser hair removal. Just imagine not having to tweeze, wax, shave or endure the long, painful hours of electrolysis again. The gold standard in the hair removal is the LightSheer™ diode laser system. This exciting technology offers a long-lasting solution to unwanted hair on the face, back, legs, bikini line or any other body area.
“There’s no time like the present to begin laser treatments for the unwanted hair”, says Dr. Valencia, who has treated many satisfied clients. “The beauty of this breakthrough technology is that we can effectively treat unwanted hair on all skin types, including dark-skinned individuals.”
How permanent laser hair reduction works
The LightSheer™ laser gently cools the surface of the skin while pulses of light are selectively absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicles. The absorbed light heats the hair structures, which damages the existing hair and destroys the growth potential of the follicle – all without damaging the surrounding normal tissue. Most People achieve permanent hair reduction, and clinical studies show that if some hair does return, they are typically lighter and less dense than prior to laser treatment.
Unlike other hair removal methods, laser hair removal is tolerated well and can be performed in minutes in the comfort of a physician’s office. Dozens of hairs are eliminated with each pulse of light. Following treatment, you can generally return to work and resume all regular activities immediately.
